This ministry is sponsored by Love, INC and the network of 40+ churches who help care for people in need in the county. Beginning next week, there will be a box in the foyer where you can deposit school supplies for these needy children including calculators, 3-ring binders, colored pencils, erasers, rulers, felt markers, watercolor sets, notebook paper, backpacks, spiral notebooks, pocket folders, scissors, protractors, compasses, white glue, glue sticks, ball point pens and #2 pencils. You can send a check to START RIGHT, PO Box 952, Oregon City, OR 97045. (A tax deductible receipt will be provided.)

CELEBRATING FELLOWSHIP TOGETHER Because of special events and activities this summer, our schedule for worship has been adjusted from our regular plan of serving Communion on the fourth Sunday of the month. We will remember the Lord through participating in Communion in our worship services on July 4, August 1, and August 29.

BAPTISM... When Jesus commissioned His disciples to carry on the work He began, He called them to make more disciples who would follow Him. They were to be identified in a particular way - through baptism. The practice of baptism has been a rite by which followers publicly declare their decision to follow Jesus, and unite with others in the community of believers, since the first preaching of the gospel. If you would like to learn more about baptism, or are interested in being baptized, please contact Pastor Steve (Steve Hardy ~ at ~ damascuscc ~ dot ~ org).
