BAPTISM  When Jesus commissioned His disciples to carry on the work He began, He called them to make more disciples who would follow Him. They were to be identified in a particular way - through baptism. The practice of baptism has been a rite by which followers publicly declare their decision to follow Jesus, and unite with others in the community of believers, since the first preaching of the gospel. If you would like to learn more about baptism, or are interested in being baptized, please contact Pastor Steve.

We seek to be the visible presence of Christ.

Prayer Chain Updates and Changes Over the next couple of weeks there will be some significant changes in the prayer chain. The first change we want to share with you is our new mission statement: "Because we believe God hears and answers prayer, the DCC Prayer Chain exists to support the critical and specific needs of our DCC family."

The prayer chain is a way to support our church family. You may share additional issues in your community groups. It’s always a joy to pray for concerns and needs of the church body. Keep watching for additional information in the next couple of weeks.

Thank You for your Prayers Murl and I would like to thank all of you for your support and prayers the past few weeks. It has been wonderful to know that so many of you care and have prayed for us. Words could never express our thanks and love we have felt from the DCC and DCS body. Thanks again, Lou and Murl Eddy
