Caring
Ministries
We are not
able to grow beyond our ability to care for the
people.
This is the reason for providing
Caring Ministries at Damascus Community Church.
We purpose to be involved with each other by being
available to those who are going through various
crises: illness, surgery, hospitalization, loss
of a loved one, etc. A visit, a card, a flower,
a gift, a kind word or a hug along with a word of
prayer in a moment of crisis has an amazing effect.
Love, INC is beginning a new mentoring ministry
Fall of 2012 called PATHWAYS TO HOPE. This ministry has a goal of supporting individuals and families through one on one mentoring, assisting them to be free from financial bondage and teaching budget and life skills. Volunteers are needed in numerous areas. Pick up an information sheet at the Welcome Counter. Visit
http://clackamasloveinc.org for information or talk to a Caring Commission member listed on board at Welcome Counter..
