Athletics at DCS
Participation in DCS athletic program
In response to a growing number of inquiries concerning home schoolers and
Heartlink students participating in the DCS athletic program and in order to
maintain our academic integrity, our policy is as follows:
• Students wishing to participate in the DCS athletic program, grades 5-8, must
be full-time students at DCS (exception our current 5/6 basketball program may
complete their season with its present team members). Spring sport teams (5th
12th) will be made up of full-time DCS students only.
The Metro Christian School League, of which we are a charter member, states,
Participation shall be limited to students who are regularly enrolled in the
school for which they compete. If a school has a home school program through
which credit is given and a student is registered in that program, they may
compete for that school.
In order for DCS students to participate in any extra curricular activity, all
financial accounts must be current.
