Second Wednesdays
· 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. September — May
“Behold, children are a gift of
the Lord,
the fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior,
so are the children of one’s youth.”
-Psalm 127:3-4 (NASB)
WHAT IS MOMS?
At MOMS, we believe children are a gift from
God. We also know that parenting young children
is the toughest job in the world! MOMS is designed
to offer mothers of young children a time of rejuvenation
and support, while we rejoice in the gift of motherhood,
and encourage women to faithfully follow Christ.
If you are expecting or have children ages 0-5 (kindergarten),
we hope you’ll join us for a two-hour break from
your daily routine so we can clear our heads, have
some fun and reaffirm our commitment to “making
our motherhood significant!"
What Can I Expect?
When you arrive, you’ll drop your kids off at our
children’s programs. Someone from our team will
be available to point you in the right direction.
Our morning is free of charge, and begins with a
delicious brunch and an opportunity to visit with
other moms. We will then hear from our speaker,
who is scheduled each month to teach on various
topics related to parenting, home management and
nurturing our families and friends. This is followed
by a discussion time with your table of the morning’s
topic.
Also included in the morning’s program are mom testimonies,
a craft or activity, and an invitation to share
prayer requests. Please note, no one will be asked
to share or pray out loud unless they’re comfortable
doing so!
Is
Childcare Available?
You bet! While you are relaxing at MOMS, your kids
will be having a blast at our children’s programs.
Your 0-36 month-old will be cared for by our loving
nursery staff. Toddlers will have a healthy snack.
Your 3+ year-old will participate in our Sprouts
program, where they will enjoy games, music, Bible
stories and a snack. Homeschool kids are encouraged
to join us and help with the little ones!
On the day of MOMS, you may drop your child off
before 9 A.M. Please allow time for signing your
child in and saying goodbye.
