Some have asked about helping others with their Stimulus Check, as they have been blessed in not personally experiencing financial hardship due to the current pandemic. Among the many ways to help folks in need would be to use part or all of your check as a contribution to DCC, to the DCC caring fund, or the DCS tuition assistance fund for those facing financial difficulty due to the current pandemic. Please clearly indicate which fund you intend to resource when making a contribution. Each taxpayer may make a charitable contribution of up to $300, and receive a tax deduction whether or not they itemize their deductions.
