Damascus Community Church

This week from Colossians 3 we are seeing character traits followers of Jesus are to “put on” in reflecting the nature of God.  One such trait, for which some churches were commended, is generosity ((2 Corinthians 8:2).  Opportunities to express this trait are around us as many experience the hardships associated with “sheltering”, and will always be a necessary part of advancing ministry for Christ.  We are grateful for generous hearts here at DCC, and let’s pray we simply “excel still more” (1 Thess 4:1 NASB)
