Check out our October 19-23, 2020 Eagle Eye

Announcements from the County and State and a special prayer requests: We were informed by the county this week that on Monday, October 26 we will be required to go back to our hybrid system we started the year with.  Currently this only affects our Kindergarten – 3rd grade.  We are disappointed to hear this news.  However, we have been informed that the state and country received all the required documentation for our emergency childcare certification for students up to age 12, which would allow us to meet with these student full day during traditional school hours.  The state is also planning on coming out with new metrics in the coming weeks.  Please prayer for God’s timing and for wisdom for those making these decisions.

“THE HEART OF A HERO” 3RD ANNUAL AUCTION: An online auction is being held to honor alum Keaton Coffey, who died in active duty while serving in Afghanistan, Starting Saturday, October 17th, the online auction will include two dozen outings, vacation getaways, baskets and other packages. Proceeds will be directed toward first responders and service members; a portion of the money raised will also fund our DCS Keaton Coffey Scholarship. ELD status and Metric Updates: We have been informed that the state and country received all the required documentation for our emergency childcare certification for students up to age 12 during traditional school hours.  As soon as we receive approval, we will inform you.  They state is also meeting over the two weeks to present updated metrics, which we sound like they may be more favorable to bringing back students on campus.  They plan to release these mid to late October.
