Damascus Community Church has been asked by local community partners to promote a need for drivers with "Meals on Wheels." Please see the request below:
"The volunteer would need to drive to the Estacada Senior Center on a Thursday morning to pick up sacked meals (between 6-14 sacks - currently at 11) and deliver them to clients in the Damascus community. The person would be working with two current drivers to work out a convenient schedule and also help cover for each other. Commitment would be to drive once or twice a month. Currently it takes about two hours to drive out, deliver, and return home. Distance traveled is about 45 miles. If interested please contact the Estacada Senior Center at (503) 630-7454."
