We are down to 4 weeks left of the school year! As you will see in this edition of the Eagle Eye, it’s a jam-packed final 4 weeks. Please note, Thursday, May 23rd is a full day of school for grades Kinder through 11th. It is a half day and the last day of school for 12th graders only. 

This week, May 6-10, is Teacher Appreciation week! Josilyn Bell is graciously coordinating a schedule of snacks, treats and beverages this week for school staff. Check out what’s new in the library with the May Library Newsletter! Start searching all the nooks and crannies for any missing library books. All student checked out library books will be due back the week of May 13th!  The cost for any unreturned student library books will be charged to your account after Friday, May 17th.

Student Council elections are underway, and applications are due to the school office Monday, May 6th by 3:30 PM!

Calling all 3rd- 5th grade Boys Basketball Players! Sign-ups are live for our annual Elementary Boys Basketball Camp which will run May 20th – 23rd, 3:30pm - 5:00pm.  The camp is being organized and run by the varsity basketball coaches and players. Don’t miss out and sign up today!

Open Teaching Positions for 2024-2025 – DCS is taking applications for open teaching positions for the upcoming school year. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact the school office.   Open positions include Secondary Social Studies, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th Grade.
