As we turn the page to October this next week, our campus is buzzing with energy, activity, and God’s goodness – here’s next week’s Eagle Eye look into life at DCS.
It’s Time to Celebrate! Phase 1A of our Building on Faith expansion is fully funded—praise God! Join us Tuesday, September 30 at 6:00 PM for the first event in our new amphitheater as we dedicate the entire expansion to God’s glory.
Did You Know? At the first elementary chapel of each month, teachers will honor select students from their class with three distinct character awards, recognizing their growth and example from the previous month. These students will be celebrated up front and presented with a certificate. The three awards are:
The David Award – Presented to students who demonstrate a hear for God through their actions. These students show genuine interest in spiritual truths and strive to live them out in their daily lives.
The Solomon Award – Given to students who, like Solomon, seek wisdom and apply it thoughtfully in their decisions and interactions.
The Eagle Award – Each month highlights a specific character trait. For example, September focuses on Obedience. Students who consistently reflect that trait in their daily life at DCS may be honored with this award.
