Eagle Eye News - November 3-7, 2025

We’ve officially wrapped up our fall sports season, and we couldn’t be prouder of our student-athletes! Our varsity volleyball team gave it their all in Round 1 of the OSAA State Championships. While the outcome was not in our favor, the growth and determination they showed throughout the season surpassed all expectations. After a three-year rebuilding journey, making it back to the playoffs is a huge accomplishment. Way to go Lady Eagles!

We’re also celebrating all of our fall sports teams for their hard work and dedication. One junior high volleyball player summed it up beautifully before their playoff game by stating that win or lose, we aim to glorify God through our sport. What a powerful reminder of the heart behind our athletics!

Up Next: Elementary Basketball Beings!  Elementary basketball games will kick off this coming week. As we head toward Christmas break, things will get busier – so be sure to stay informed by checking the weekly Eagle Eye for events, updates and schedules.

After-School Playground Supervision Reminder - Please remember that once your child has been picked up at the end of the school day, they are under your supervision. If you choose to let them play on the playground, we ask that you keep a close eye on them. The after-school care coordinator is responsible only for students enrolled in the after-school care program and must be able to focus on those children. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Save the Date: Conferences are on Monday, November 10th. Please note there will be no school on this day to allow time for conferences for both elementary and secondary students.

  • Elementary conferences: These will be scheduled by appointment only. Classroom teachers will reach out with details on how to sign up.

  • Secondary conferences: Held in arena style from 4:00 - 8:00 PM in the gym. Please plan to have at least one parent of each secondary student attend.

What is Arena-Style? Secondary teachers will be seated at individual tables throughout the gym.  Parents will have the opportunity to move from table to table and meet with each of their student’s teachers.

Need Help Finding Your Student’s Teachers? You’ll receive a copy of your student’s report card upon arrival. You can also view your child’s schedule by logging into the Family Portal. Simply select Student from the left-hand menu, then click Schedules.

Checking Grades Throughout the Quarter - Stay up to date on your child’s academic progress by logging into the Family Portal. Under the Student section, you’ll find current grades, homework, assignments, and any missing work.

Thank you for partnering with us to support your students both in and out of the classroom!
