It’s The Final Countdown of the 2025-2026 school year! With a full lineup of celebrations and promotion ceremonies ahead, be sure to check out this year’s final Eagle Eye for the complete schedule of remaining events and activities. We are so grateful for a wonderful year and look forward to celebrating these final moments together!

Before heading into summer break, please take note of the following important reminders:

Lost and Found items will be displayed on tables in the courtyard Monday and Tuesday of this week. Our collection has grown quite large – please take a few moments to look through and reclaim any items belonging to your family, All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.

Library Updates! There will be no Community Library Hour after school on Thurs, June 4th. Be sure to add our summer library schedule to your calendar! Wednesday’s at 10:00 AM, beginning June 10th.  Join us for story time or take part in our summer reading challenges to earn prizes. For more details, connect with our wonderful librarian, Courtney Smith!

2025-2026 Yearbooks will be available in the fall. In the meantime, take a moment to sift through all your pictures and upload them for the Yearbook team – sports, theater, arts, field trips, performances, and other special moments. Please Scan the QR Code to upload photos directly, or email photos to yearbook@dcs4you.org.

Elementary Field Day Volunteers Needed – Thank you to everyone who has already signed up! We still have a few spots to fill and are looking for volunteers to help run activity stations. Each station will be supported by two parents and 6th grade helpers. A brief informational meeting will be held after school on Monday, June 1. Field Day is set for Thursday, June 4th with sessions from 8:20–9:45 and 9:50–11:15 (bounce house volunteers stay an extra 15 minutes). DCC Sports and Art Camp – DCC invites current Kindergarten-5th grade students to join our Sports & Art Camp, August 3-7, from 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM. Campers must be entering 1st-6th grade in Fall 2026. Activities will include basketball, soccer, volleyball, art, and reading/writing fairy tales.
